Jonathan founded South & Co in 2008 and still takes a very hands-on role in driving forward our sales and lettings departments as well as overseeing renovation projects. With over 15 years’ experience of buying and selling property throughout the North West, Jonathan’s practical approach and knowledge are a huge help to both landlords and potential investors. He ensures that the core values of excellent personal customer service and expert knowledge remain at the forefront of the business. In his spare time Jonathan can almost always be found outdoors, either shooting or training his Springer Spaniels and Labradors.
Angela founded South & Co with Jonathan and she now writes our corporate literature, oversees our advertising campaigns and develops company procedures. With a degree in English and a Master’s degree in Marketing, she makes sure that our properties stand out from the competition. When not at work Angela looks after her two children and enjoys reading and languages.
Christine is responsible for the accounts and her precision and eye for detail are crucial to the business. Christine will be your favourite person as she’s the one who makes payments into your bank account each month. Outside of work Christine can be found gardening, looking after her grandchildren, and researching her family history.
Kelly manages a portfolio of rental properties as well as co-ordinating Property Management and all maintenance issues. She takes a very practical approach to property management and has extensive knowledge and experience of maintenance and building work. Kelly is meticulously organised and her willingness to help makes her extremely popular with both landlords and tenants. In her spare time Kelly spends most of her time with her dogs Sooty and Yogi and she loves driving fast cars!
Nicola lives in Stoke-on-Trent and she manages all of our Stoke properties as well as a portfolio of properties in Crewe. Her lettings experience and practical nature are a hit with landlords: she handles contract renewals, tenant move-ins, maintenance issues and property inspections. When not at work Nicola loves shopping and keeps fit with circuit training.
Originally from Poland, Martyna is an invaluable asset to our growing number of Polish tenants and her interpreting skills help to quickly resolve tenancy and maintenance issues. Martyna also manages a portfolio of rental properties and deals with contract renewals, tenant move-ins, maintenance issues and property inspections. Outside of work Martyna loves rock music, Iron Maiden and the colour black!
Daniel started working for South & Co whilst he was still at college and he has worked closely with Jonathan to gain experience in all aspects of the business. His knowledge of the local property market is second-to-none and he is known to provide honest sales valuations and helpful advice. Daniel’s positive outlook and enthusiasm for property are a real hit with vendors. Daniel has recently taken up golf so when he’s not at work you can find him on the golf course practicing his swing!
Annabel handles all lettings applications and tenant referencing. As well as booking in and carrying out viewings, she is the first point of contact for rental properties and she keeps landlords regularly updated on any applications. Annabel always looks immaculate; in her spare time she enjoys horse riding and playing the piano.
Michael keeps the office ticking over and makes sure that all filing and office duties are kept up-to-date. He’s always happy to help if anything needs doing and he makes an excellent cup of tea! In his spare time Michael loves going out with his friends and watching the soaps.
Sebastian heads the South & Co maintenance team and he is well known to many of our landlords and tenants. If there’s an emergency or out-of-hours problem it’s often Sebastian who resolves it and his professionalism and experience are a huge asset.
Our in-house maintenance team and are all highly qualified with years of experience between them. From plastering to plumbing, decorating to joinery, they ensure that all maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and to a high standard.
